Meet Father John

                                    

Dear Friends,

              I would like to take this opportunity and welcome you to our parish website.  Since 1983 San Juan Del Rio has offered a community of faith, Eucharist and fellowship to families from throughout northwest St. John’s County.  Today we have over 2,000 families and are growing.

              We provide Catholic education from Pre-K 3 through 8th grade in our Catholic School and also offer Religious Education to over 800 children.  We have a very active Adult Faith Formation Community as well as many clubs and organizations that support our many spiritual and social activities.  Please come visit us.  We are located at 1718 State Road 13, North, in beautiful Saint Johns, Florida.

              In 2007 we opened our new Church that seats over 1200 people.  We are in the process of assessing the needs of our growing faith community and responding to our mission:

              Our mission is guided by the following principles: 

• The celebration of God’s grace through our participation in the seven sacraments.

• Our living each day, in a manner that reflects God’s presence in us.

• The living, as good Samaritans, with care and concern for others.

• The active embracing and enriching of our community.

• The maintaining of both the physical and spiritual Body of Christ.

• The training and teaching of Catholic values to our parish community.

• The preservation and continuation of the traditions of the Catholic Church.
